Ingredients
500 gm potatoes, (large or medium)
1 tsp dhania (coriander) powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1\2 tsp jeera (cumin) seeds
1\2 tsp turmeric powder
1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
2-3 green chillies (finely chopped)
2 tbsp pil for cooking
Fresh coriander for garnishing
Method
Boil the potatoes, peel them and dice them in to medium size pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and the asafetida and allow them to splutter for some time. Add the potatoes and all the masalas and mix them well. Garnish with chopped coriander before serving. Serve with puris.
